- You write something, we write it to Bitcoin. Once it confirms, it is permanent and no one can undo it, including us.
- You are responsible for what you write. Do not write anything illegal, anyone else's private data, or anything that harms others.
- Payments are one-time. Because writing to Bitcoin cannot be reversed, sales are final once your words are submitted.
- We provide the tool. We cannot edit, hide, delete, or recover what you write, and we never promise it will stay private unless you seal it with your own key.
01What PermaWord does
PermaWord writes text or data you submit into the Bitcoin blockchain through a standard transaction. Once a transaction is confirmed by the network, the content is public, permanent, and outside anyone's control, including ours.
You understand that this is the core purpose of the service and is irreversible by design.
02Your responsibilities
You are solely responsible for the content you submit. You agree not to submit content that is unlawful, infringes others' rights, contains the private or personal data of other people, constitutes harassment, doxxing, or threats, or violates any applicable law.
Because content cannot be removed once written, you accept full responsibility for the permanence of anything you submit.
03Permanence and irreversibility
Once your words are submitted and broadcast, the action cannot be cancelled, edited, reversed, or deleted. We have no technical ability to alter or remove data from the Bitcoin blockchain.
You acknowledge that you are creating a permanent public record and that this is the intended effect.
04Sealed records and keys
For sealed records, you choose your own key phrase, and the content is encrypted in your browser before anything is sent. Your key phrase never reaches our servers, and it is never written to Bitcoin. Because we never receive it, your sealed words cannot be read by anyone, including us, and cannot be recovered. If you lose it, the record stays on Bitcoin but can never be read. This is a feature of the privacy model, not a defect.
05Payment
Prices are shown before you confirm. For tiers priced by length, the exact total, including the cost of writing to Bitcoin, is displayed before payment. Payment is processed by our payment provider. All sales are final once content is submitted, as set out in our Refund Policy.
06No warranty
The service is provided as is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the website or the reader tool. The permanence of your content depends on the Bitcoin network, not on us. If PermaWord ceases to operate, content already written to Bitcoin remains on the chain and readable with open tools.
07Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PermaWord and Mindcraft Inc. are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, including loss resulting from content you chose to make permanent or from a lost key phrase.
